Apart from the main structure for the Portal design, we will have to think about the joining systems of its individual elements. It is very critical of how the individually designed units are fixed together to form as a whole structure, not only in structural wise it works, but also in its architectural aesthetic ways of presenting it.

The "footing" system is fairly important as well because it plays the role of catering most of the loads of the structure itself. The choice of materials selected for the "footing" is supposed to be easily constructed or economically manufactured.
