The task of "Souvenir" making acts as the starting point of explorations on the shape-forming and structural grids of the final portal design, and also in collaboration associated with traditional crafting methods and modern technologies.
This exercise is meant to trigger new design thinkings and methods which whether us students could adapt from, and also with the help from modern technology, digital fabrication softwares such as Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D printer etc, it makes the process of making the "Souvenir" more diversable and interesting.
